The shy Icelandic boy Gabriel (Attlee Oscar Farnessen Atli Oskar Fjalarsson) comes to the UK to be an exchange student and becomes a roommate with the free and easy Marcos (played by Haladir Ali Stefson Haraldur Ari Stef á nsson). Marcos opened the rebellious side of Gabriel's heart, and the two could not help themselves under the big tree on campus after drinking one night. When Gabriel returned to Iceland, he found that he could no longer fit into his original circle of friends, and what was waiting for him was a growing map full of confusion and restlessness. The thrill, which writes about the confusing youth of teenagers in Europe, was shortlisted for best picture, best director, best screenplay and other eight major awards at the 2011 Ida Awards, known as the Icelandic Oscars. The title "Jitters" means to tremble.
