13 Tzameti (2005)

The dark and silent French seaside town is suffocating. Sebastian the bricklayer (George Babouani George Babluani) works all day long mending the roof for the owner, which is boring. One day, the owner of the house received a mysterious letter and died of a drug overdose in the bathroom. When Sebastian learned that the secret of great wealth was hidden in the letter, he decided to keep the appointment in place of the landlord according to the train ticket and route in the envelope. However, when he arrived at his destination, he realized that it was a wild and savage roulette game. But Sebastian is stuck in this morbid life-and-death gamble, and who is the ultimate winner in this life-and-death struggle. Director Glabbbruani, who was only 26 years old when he made the film, won many awards such as the Best Picture debut Award at the Venice Film Festival in 2005 and the World Film drama jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006.
