33 Postcards (2011)

From a very young age, my sister (Zhu Lin) was abandoned as an orphan by her parents. Fortunately, as far away as Australia, a gentleman named Randall (Guy Pierce Guy Pearce) stepped in to help her sister to live a carefree life in the orphanage. Her sister had never met her savior, and all she knew about Randall was confined to all kinds of beautiful cards sent to her by the latter. In her sister's impression, Randall lived in a big house with a happy, rich and kind family. In an unexpected opportunity, my sister's orphanage came to Australia to take part in an event. My sister secretly left the team and embarked on a journey to find Randall alone. Unexpectedly, the reality was like a basin of cold water poured on his sister's head. Randall was not rich and even lost his freedom. Randall's downfall did not change his sister's respect for him, and with the passage of time, a feeling similar to kinship emerged between the two.
