A Private War (2018)

Jamie Donan joined Pei Chunhua and Tarun Agerton in the new biography "Private War", directed by Matthew Heineman ("the Land of Drug trafficking" and "Ghost City"), and Arash Amel ("Princess of Monaco"). It will be based on Colvin's life stories written by Vanity Fair, with Charlize Theron as the producer. Pei Chunhua plays the female war reporter Mary Colvin, while Egaton plays a reporter with a military background who follows Colvin to the war zone to report. Shooting starts in November. Colvin went to the front lines of wars in Kosovo, Chechnya, East Timor, the Middle East, Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe, where he was seriously injured and lost an eye during the civil war in Sri Lanka. He also reported on the "Arab Spring" anti-government movement, which was killed in a rocket attack in Hums when the war broke out in Syria in 2012.
