A community bank in New York's Chinatown was sued by federal prosecutors in 2015, becoming the only bank to be sued after the 2008 financial crisis in the United States. The story was made into a documentary. The 2008 American financial crisis has a key word called "Too Big to Fail", which means that the large American financial institutions that caused the crisis caused by indiscriminate housing subprime loans are too big to fail. In fact, no large financial institution or individual is legally responsible for the crisis after the crisis. A documentary recently released by an independent producer documents the only bank sued by the federal government after the financial crisis, the Chinatown Community Bank of New York, founded by Chinese immigrants. And how its founder Sun Qicheng and his family won the case. As opposed to "too big to fail", the documentary is called "Xiaoxu in prison" (Small Enough to Jail). On May 31, 2012, Guobao Bank, headquartered in Chinatown, New York, together with two loan directors, was indicted by the New York District Attorney's Office in Manhattan on charges ranging from falsifying business records, civil loan fraud, serious theft, conspiracy, etc.
