Alganesh (2021)

After four days of truck travel, 100 Eritrean refugees arrived at a refugee centre in the Tigret region of Ethiopia. Why are they running? What happened before the events reflected in the "famous" photos of refugees crossing the sea in the west? This film documents the work of Dr. O'Ganeshi and her commitment to protecting the rights of refugees and liberating prisoners kidnapped and tortured in the Sinai Desert. The film has three main characters: the refugee, the hospitable Ethiopia, and the hopeful Oganesi in despair.
