French independent production company Gaumont will make a $23 million film about Celine Dion, "The Power of Love", which will feature a number of Dion's classic songs, including "All by Myself", "My Heart Will Go On" and "Icemm Alive". Valerie Le Messier ("Paris naughty gang" and "May Fool"), who will also play Dion. The film records Dion born and raised in Quebec in the 1960s, rising to fame as a teenager, and her relationship with her agent, husband Rene Angelil and her family. It opens in France on December 2, 2020.
