The story begins in 2000 when Elena, the barmaid (Cassiya Smutniak Kasia Smutniak), accidentally meets a man named Antonio (Francisco Francesco Arca) on the street after work, and the two quarrel because of a misunderstanding. Soon after, Elena's best friend Sylvia (Carolina Cresentini Carolina Crescentini) tells her that she has found a new boyfriend who is none other than Antonio. Because their personalities are very strong, Elena and Antonio will quarrel when they meet.
