American Hardcore (2006)

The trend of hard-core punk in the United States rose from the underground in the 1980s and stormed through the world rock circle and finally came to an end in 1986. Although it is impossible to define the beginning or end of this music revolution, nor can avid fans stop the end of the golden age of American punk, it is undeniable that this short period of six years is of far-reaching significance to American punk and even rock music. The rough texture and extreme avant-garde posture of British punk gradually evolved the unique style of American punk rock in the 1990s, which either diverted or influenced the subsequent genres of speed metal, hard core metal, Grunge and more commercial pop punk, and nourished internationally famous bands such as Nirvana, Beast Boys, GREEN DAYS and so on because of its pure and thorough subversion and rebellious spirit. And gradually mainstream punk music, which was born entirely underground. Hardcore punk, which rose because of its opposition to Reagan conservatism, has developed not only a musical trend in six years, but also instilled punk's rebellious spirit into a generation of young people's norms and ways of doing things through music. and expanded into a social movement instilled in a special social context, a youth who lost confidence in politics, family and society.
