Amsterdamned (1988)
The story takes place in the busy metropolis of Amsterdam, where the emergence of corpses in the canal plunged citizens into panic, with clues showing that it was a serial homicide committed by the same person. The person in charge of the case is Detective Eric (Huber Staples Huub Stapel), whose sense of justice makes him determined to find out who is behind the scenes. With the help of his friend John (Wim Zomer), Eric puts the target of suspicion in the local diver circle, and he becomes acquainted with the beautiful and kind Laura (Monica van der Von Monique van de Ven). With the deepening of the investigation, the figure of the suspect finally surfaced. However, as Eric approached the truth, the danger slowly came behind him.
