In the depths of the winding Amazon rainforest, there lives the ancient and mysterious Shure people. They are isolated from the rest of the world and worship man-eating snakes as totems. People outside the rainforest are excited by the legends and secrets of the Shur people. Anthropologist Steven Kay (Eric Steultz Eric Stoltz) is interested in the Schur, and he and documentary filmmaker Terry Laurie (Jennifer Lopez Jennifer Lopez) form a crew of seven to make a documentary for the mysterious tribe in the rainforest. On the way, they rescued a man named Paul Sharon (Joan Werner Jon Voight). Paul volunteered to take the crew to find the Shure, but did not think that the man's real purpose was to find a scary man-eating python. Steven in the dark and others embarked on a bloody road of no return for the first time. The film won the 1998 ALMA Latin Media Art Award for Best Actress (Jennifer Lopez), 1998 BMI EMI Best Film Music Award, and 1998 World Animation Celebration Best 3D production.
