At the end of the 19th century, Yassen Luoping, a child, studied hard in the training of his thief father and kept in mind his father's teaching of robbing the rich to help the poor, but his father, who escaped from the police raids again and again, eventually died under the stones of his companions. As time goes by, Luo Ping (Roman Darius Romain Duris) has grown into a jewel thief in a variety of high-end social occasions, visiting his mother to remeet his childhood friend Gladys (Eva Green Eva Green) and stay in the latter's home. On a night following the father of Gladys, Luo Ping stumbled upon a secret trial: Josephine, the legendary immortal woman, was sentenced to death for stealing three crosses hiding the French king's treasure. Luo Ping rescued Josephine and learned the secret of the treasure, which led him to attract the pursuit of his arch-rival Pomeranian. Luo Ping, Josephine and Pomeranian launched a tangled struggle around the cross, and the truth of the matter was beyond everyone's expectation.
