Children on the platform-the Nullah family lives in the old Halfaoni working area in Tunis. Nula is already 13 years old, but she was ridiculed by her classmates for being too short, so she was able to take a bath in the girls' bathroom with her mother. In Nula's heart, there are three heroes: Ladi, a cousin abandoned by her husband to stay in Nula's house, won the hearts of the young men in the whole community because of her bold beauty; one is the upright and knowledgeable shoemaker Sharih; and the other is the orphan daughter Leila, who lives in his home. During a bath, Nula was considered unfit to enter the women's bathroom because he was too close to a female bath and had to be a horse. Children on the platform-behind-the-scenes director Bogdier has been paying close attention to the question: in a disciplined Islamic society, how can childhood and sex be truly reflected? How can we describe the joy and sweetness of life lurking in our society regardless of gossip and rigid teachings? The film explores this forbidden area by taking advantage of the special Arab built environment-adjacent roof platforms and special social relationships-where children are allowed to move between the worlds of men and women. The film.
