According to the records of the Washington Archives, the film truthfully recreates a case of racial discrimination that took place at West Point in the early 20th century. As the only black cadet at West Point, Johnson Whittaker came here with a belief in serving the country. Just as the philosophy exam was approaching, one day he was suddenly beaten by several students. Afterwards, he was rescued from a pool of blood, but was accused of perjury, saying that he cut his ear, hit his head against the mirror, tied himself up and played dead, but avoided the exam. Weitak's lawyers are Chamberlain and Green, and Green, a lawyer from a prestigious Harvard university, stood up tenaciously in repeated humiliation because he was black. In order to find the fault of Southworth who blamed Whittaker, he found Mr. Hyde, who did not allow Southworth to testify 15 years ago, and confirmed the large amount of blood left at the scene from Jewish students to overturn the perjury of the school nurse. However, the court still found Weitak guilty, for which he filed an appeal. A year later, he was overthrown by the president out of political considerations. After that, he was expelled from the military academy and returned to South Carolina, where he earned a law degree and became principal in high school. ...
