Ness (Haley Berry) and Maggie (Natalie Daisy) are two waitresses. They dream of opening a restaurant that combines catering and beauty salon, but they don't have enough money. One day Ness read about the rapper recruitment in the newspaper, and the winner could not only perform a music video, but also win 10,000 US dollars. So the couple took all their belongings to Los Angeles for an audition, but unfortunately lost the election. just when they didn't know where to go, the director's nephew Manley (Ian Richardson) invited them home and asked Ness to pretend to be the granddaughter of housekeeper Lily.
