Bachennya metelyka (2022)

Lilia, an aviation expert, returned to her home in Ukraine to be reunited with her family after months in a prison in Donbass. The experience of being captured has been bothering her and appears in a hallucinatory way. Some things are deeply buried in her heart, so that she can not forget, but she does not want to regard herself as a victim, but wants to liberate herself through struggle. Maksym Nakonechnyi's first feature film looks at the current state of the war in Ukraine with a strong perspective, focusing in particular on women who are fighting for freedom, dignity and the future.
