The story takes place in a kingdom called Moshimudi, where a fierce battle for the throne is raging between Bajobali (Parabas Prabhas) and Baha Ladwa (Rana Dagbardi Rana Daggubati). Bahubali is upright and brave, convinced that he wants to win the throne with his true strength, while Baha Ladwa is just the opposite, the insidious and cunning he is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. In the end, Bahubali, who represented justice, became king. However, Baha Ladwa carried out an assassination to usurp the throne. Bahubali's son lives among the people and is adopted by a kind family as Shiva (played by Parabas Prabhas). As an adult, Shiva learned about his background and royal blood in his body, so he decided to overthrow the tyranny of the ruler and retake his throne.
