Bare skyer beveger stjernene (1998)

Director Torun Lian depicts a little girl's complex feelings of sadness and loss with meticulous realistic techniques and flexible mirrors, making the film full of sweet and astringent reflection. At the beginning of the film, the title and cast of the film are brought out with "Children's painting", which is full of colorful and childlike creativity. The two leading non-actors Thea Sofie Rusten (Marie) and Jan Tore Kristoffersen (Jacob) accurately interpret the naive susceptibility of children with their daily acting skills. In addition, several plots showing home videos in the film not only present the dialectic between the image and the truth, but also indirectly declare the Dogma spirit of "the movie is immortal". This film does not have the affectation of the same type of film, but its sincere emotion strengthens the fresh and healthy style.
