Hannah (Catelyn Catridge Katrin Cartlidge) and Annie (Lynda Steadman) are cohabiting roommates in college, when Annie is full of inferiority because of her appearance. It is the appearance of the cheerful and unrestrained Hannah that makes Anne regain her self-confidence and find happiness, thus building a solid friendship between the two.
