The ordinary and introverted Carrie White (Sissy Spacek Sissy Spacek) has always been an unknown ugly duckling in the class. Her eccentric personality and mother addicted to religious worship have created unique conditions for her to be bullied by her classmates. Despite the cruel reality, there are still people who care about Carrie silently on campus, which makes Carrie build up confidence and want to integrate into campus life. The triennial graduation party is about to begin, and despite the strong opposition of her mother, Margaret White (Piper Laurie Piper Laurie), Carrie is determined to win the top spot as "prom queen" at the ball to change her depressed image. However, some people are always reluctant to let her go. On the night of the dance, Carrie, wearing a crown, was covered with pig's blood in full view of the public, and anger activated the witch pedigree in her body. She wanted to use her ability to turn the whole venue into hell on earth. Adapted from Stephen King's novel of the same name, this film has not only become the ancestor of youth campus horror novels, but also opened a way for similar films to emerge in endlessly in the future.
