Chi Ming yi Chun Kiu (2010)
A smoking cessation order has turned the narrow back alley into a new social area, where countless men and women have to hide and smoke. No matter where they live or what they do, they are just smokers there, and all they do is puff and gag together. Zhiming (Yu Wenle) from the advertising company and Chunjiao (Yang Qianqian), who works at the cosmetics counter, met there. Zhiming's misfortune and the act of lighting a cigarette for Chunjiao made Chunjiao like this gentle man. Over the next few days and nights, the two sent text messages and made appointments to smoke on street corners. Feelings are transmitted through the thumb, and love grows in the smoke, and finally an ambiguous text message leads Chunjiao to break up with her boyfriend Jiahao (Huang Debin). When Chunjiao was ready to devote herself to her relationship with Zhiming, Zhiming's attitude became ambiguous. The smoke continued to linger in the back alley of the corner, but it could not bridge the gap between the two. With the decision to increase tobacco tax, smokers began to search for and hoard cigarettes. In the process of looking for cigarettes, Zhiming and Chunjiao met again at the convenience store where they first met. This evening, they made an appointment to look for cigarettes together. The film was shot 15 times in five weeks.
