City of Ghosts (2002)

Some states in the United States have been hit by hurricanes and many people have been displaced. Jamie, an employee of the insurance company, was found at home by the FBI before he recovered from the sudden disaster. It turns out that after investigation, his insurance company is simply an empty shell and is suspected of fraud. Many of the affected residents have taken out the company's insurance, but now they have nothing to lose. Jamie, the only employee of the insurance company, was confused and decided to evade the FBI and go to Cambodia alone to ask his colleagues for shares in the amount of insurance fraud. But when he arrived in Cambodia, Jamie found that things were not as simple as they thought. Caspar, a colleague who also wants to recover the insurance money, is very strange in words and behavior, while the boss, Marvin, is far away in Bangkok, Thailand, and will return soon. Jamie wanted to go to Bangkok again, but his passport disappeared on the first day of Cambodia. Jamie was angry and annoyed, and everyone around him seemed to have evil intentions. Only Asso, a simple tricycle driver, was his true and reliable friend. In this old country, Jamie was caught in a mysterious situation, with people killed and others missing.
