A series of assassinations suddenly occurred in the calm city. the victims were all former subordinates of retired Special Forces Colonel John (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Senior Scobie visited John's mountain cabin to warn him that John, who had been retired for a long time, only wanted to enjoy life with his young daughter Jenny and did not want to be involved in the hatred again. Unexpectedly, this time the enemy followed Kirby to John's residence, and they took Jenny away. John was forced to assassinate the president of the Republic of Ovid in order to pave the way for Arius, the mastermind behind it, to ascend to the presidency of the country. John, of course, would not give in. After he got rid of his surveillance staff, jumped out of the plane and was temporarily out of Arius's control, he had only eleven hours to save Jenny. John asks Sidi (Rae Dawn Chong), a black girl he doesn't know, to help him at the airport. The two go through a series of fiery battles together. Sidi's attitude towards this strange burly man turns from vigilance to full assistance, and finally arrives on the island where Arius is hiding.
