Charlie (Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy) and Phil (Jeff Jeff Garlin) work for a high-end advertising agency, but instead of earning a bright future for themselves, they ignore their families and children. Charlie and Phil both lost their jobs in an accident, and the sudden mass of leisure time made them realize their magical talent in raising children, and they decided to open a full-time nanny nursery. Charlie and Phil's nursery opened, and with the passage of time, their "business" became more and more prosperous, and they also had a group of regular "customers". They even recruited an employee named Marvin (played by Steve Steve Zahn) to become a veritable "boss". At a time of complacency, problems and troubles ensued.
