Death Race (2008)

In 2012, the economic situation of the United States deteriorated, the crime rate soared, and the gradually privatized prisons were unscrupulous in order to make huge profits, so the "death Speed" race came into being. Former excellent racing driver Frank (Jason Statham) participates in a worker protest at the factory. As a result, someone breaks into his home and kills his wife that night, but Frank is jailed as a murderer. Hennessy (Joan Allen), the warden and organizer of the Dead Racing Race, asks Frank to replace the masked racer Frankenstein, and promises that as long as Frank wins another game as Frankenstein, he will be free. Frank and navigator Kathy (Natalie Martinez) enter this crazy game of driving a modified car and may encounter death at any time, but he gets off to a bad start in an absent-minded situation, and Frank has to take a chance in the face of Hennessy's threat and frame-up.
