The story develops to the last episode of the previous year, in which Richard Burton plays the centurion as martyrdom, telling the slave Demetrius before his death to send the red robe worn by Jesus before his death to the great disciple Peter of Christ, while the emperor of Rome issued a manhunt to seize the robe to consolidate his political power. In the end, after completing his mission, Dametrius was arrested and sentenced to duel to the death in the arena. Such a story itself was a simple religious story, but Holly was not willing to be dull, so he arranged for Dametrius to be seduced by an aristocratic woman under the emperor so that he could tell the whereabouts of the robe. Faced with the beauty of the present, coupled with the matter of life and death, Dametris still chose to die in the arena, martyred with his fighter friends.
