Disengagement (2007)

Anna (Juliette Binoche Juliet Binoche), a French woman of Israeli origin, returned to settle in Israel with her father from France since she was a child. In order not to forget her ancestors who had worked hard on French land, her father specifically forbade Anna to learn Hebrew. The young Anna had a secret affection with the Israeli man and gave birth to a daughter.
