Francis is a smart and calm girl, she is a year earlier than her peers in high school. In Middleberg, where she lives, strange things happen again and again: dogs appear on the roof; alarm clocks go off hours in advance; a teacher's car is covered with eggs; gel appears in the school swimming pool; the letter "B" is sprayed all over the town. The pranks seemed to point to Francis, but she had no idea what was going on. A boy named Larry Houdini was willing to help Francis. The wonderful thing is that only the children can see the boy. Larry told Francis that she had been framed by a demon.
