Dorian Gray (2009)

Poor boy Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes Ben Barnes) comes to London from the countryside and meets the famous social painter Basil (Ben Chaplin Ben Chaplin) and gentleman Henry (Colin Faith Colin Firth). They see that he is handsome, so they introduce him into the social celebrity circle. Basil specially used him as a mannequin and painted a delicate and lifelike bust portrait, which immediately aroused the surprise and admiration of the social circle. From then on, Gray entered Vanity Fair and lived a colorful life every day. By chance, he fell in love with Cecilia, a small theater actress, and the two fell in love at first sight. When he heard that Grey was going to get married, Henry began to induce him not to believe in marriage, but to enjoy the wind and moon. As a result, there was a conflict between Gray and her lover, and later her pregnant body was found in the river, which made him very shocked and annoyed, but unable to recover. Gray was completely depraved, constantly drugging himself with women, alcohol and even drugs. A soul has since embarked on the path of evil. This film is based on Dorian, the first novel published by British writer Oscar Wilde in 1891.
