Dreamgirls (2006)
In Detroit in the 1960s, three black girls, Tina (Beyonc é Knowles Beyonce Knowles), Effie (Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Hudson) and Laurel (Anicanoros Anika Noni Rose) formed the "Dream" group, determined to develop a singing career in the draft. However, they were disappointed by the result of the competition, and what was clear was that they were chosen by their agent Curtis (Jamie Fox Jamie Foxx) with an ambition to turn them into popular pop singers. As a result, the three girls began to embark on a starry journey full of unknown stars. Curtis devised a whole set of plans for them to perform in harmony with the big singers on the stage, and then reorientated the roles of the three people in the group so that they could perform independently-Effie, who had the best voice but was not good-looking, was removed from her position as lead singer, while the good-looking Tina acted as lead singer. This caused a storm within the group. The relationship between the three singers is no longer simple on the road to fame, and the feud between Effie and Curtis is also entangled.
