Actor Trudy toured the eastern provinces near the Belarusian border with the troupe, performing "stage Artist" by Thomas Bernhard. When the protagonist Trudy returned to her hometown where she had been away for many years and saw her dying mother, she was surprised to find that Andrew, a mentally retarded disabled person, had almost become a stand-in. The more he tried to recognize the mysterious figure, the more paranoid he became, falling apart little by little, leading him to an unknown ending.
