Quentin (Devon Gumelsar Devon Gummersall) is a very ordinary young man as well as a comic book fan. On weekdays, he works in the biochemical technology laboratory, where he is a guard. Every day, Quentin immerses himself in his imagination, imagining that one day he will acquire some superpowers and become a superhero to save the world. One day, when a gang of vicious robbers attacked the laboratory, Quentin's best friend was killed in the crossfire. Quentin was so saddened that he vowed to avenge his friend and worked out a dangerous plan. The lab is working on a drug made from spider blood. Quentin stole it and injected it into his own blood. Something terrible happened. Instead of becoming a strong Spider-Man, Quentin gradually became a big furry spider.
