Eastern Boys (2013)

Oriental Boys is a Paris street story about Eastern European teenagers. Teenagers who enter France illegally from Poland, Russia, Romania and other countries are called "Oriental Boys". Most of them are young adults, the oldest is no more than 25 years old, and they roam public places such as subway stations every day. Some will take the initiative to chat up and provide sexual services, but the consequences are often unpredictable. Daniel (Olivier Rabo urdin), the protagonist, is a middle-aged white-collar worker who has a successful career. He meets Malek (Kirill Emelyanov), a Ukrainian boy on the street of Paris North Station, and can't help being attracted by him. After the two agreed on the time and cost, Daniel waited at home for Malek to visit, only to wait for a black trap made up of violence. Robin Campillo, director of Boys of the Orient, is a famous French filmmaker. Between the walls, written by him and Lauren Gantae, won the Palme d'Or at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Oriental Boy is Robin Campillo's second directing work. The film tells the special story of a man and a boy from lust entanglement to help each other with poetic pictures and quiet plots.
