Edge of Fear (2018)

Mike, a stockbroker, suffered a heart attack during a business trip in China and was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. A year later, he invited his savior, Lin Liang and Luo Lan, a doctor from China, to his new forest villa for a holiday. A gang of robbers hijacked the police station's prison van and rescued the drug maker Victor, who pierced the fuel tank of the robber's car before the police died. In order to get in touch with the pickup car, they broke into Mike's forest villa. Mike was brutally killed in a confrontation with the gangsters. Seeing his friend killed and his wife humiliated, Lin Liang, who always takes saving lives as his bounden duty, was inspired.
