Edge of Seventeen (1998)

In the summer of 1984, the air was filled with an air of laziness and ease. 17-year-old Eric (Chris Stanford Chris Stafford) is a sunny boy who has just been promoted to the third year of high school. During the holiday, he and his friend Maggie (Tina Holmes Tina Holmes) find a part-time job in a fast food restaurant. Here Eric meets Rod, a boy who is older than himself (Anderson Gabriel Andersen Gabrych). Rod seemed to like the shy boy in front of him. Eric was rattled by his unscrupulous teasing, but he gradually found that he had fallen in love with Rod. The sexual entanglement between boys and boys begins in sunny Ohio. The film won the 1998 Los Angeles Film Festival audience Award for Best Picture, jury Award for Best Actor (Chris Stafford), Best American Film and Best Screenplay, and 1998 San Francisco Gay International Film Festival audience Award for Best Picture.
