This film describes the colorful life of GE Beizhai, a master of Japanese Ukiyo-e painting. The poor-born Tiezang (Ogata fist) became the stepson of the mirror grinder Ishima Nakajima when he was a teenager. He later studied painting because he was infatuated with painting, but was expelled by several masters. Later, he fell out with his adoptive father, and his daughter Ah Rong (Tanaka Yuko) lived in the home of his good friend Sasi (Minxing Nishida), who was born as a samurai but loved to write. Tiezang met the enigmatic beauty Ah Zhi in the rain and fell in love with it. From then on, he became infatuated with the Spring Palace painting and became very popular. The adoptive father was infatuated with Ah Zhi and committed suicide. A Zhi also left without saying goodbye, and Tiezang's life fell into a low ebb. When he was in trouble, Arong and Zuoqi (later literary guru Longze Maqin) helped Tiezang tide over the difficulties. Tiezang, who travels all over the world, painted masterpieces such as "36 scenes of Rich Prison". Daughter Ah Rong married 82-year-old Sashi at the age of 70. In the case of blindness, Tiezo alone painted his last masterpiece, the Truth of the Hui Neng Club.
