Enrique and Rosa are brothers and sisters from Guatemala. In order to avoid persecution, the two fled from their hometown to the north. With the dream of a new life, they came to the United States through Mexico. This is a daily story, but before Gregory Nava, the landmark "North," the personal suffering of immigrants crossing into the United States was never shown in the film in a much-needed spirit of humanitarian care.
