The Harpers are having a bad Christmas, and Ryan and Cassie are still trying to get used to the fact that their mother died a few years ago. Their father, Eric, is also trying to start a new chapter in his life, inviting Amy, a beautiful and charming butcher, to their Christmas dinner. But while he was making his final gift purchase, he was kidnapped by a bunch of stupid thieves. After Cassie made a wish on an old elf doll, a magic elf was left by Santa Claus to help them in their garden. The elves met the children and their eccentric and active grandma. Soon the elves were supported by the children to thwart the stupid thieves who wanted to use their father's secret inventions to realize their vicious plans. At first, the elves were frustrated and gave up their efforts. But after the children showed him a superhero outfit they had made, he realized that he had to put on the parody outfit and tried again to save Eric from the kidnappers.
