Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) is a shrewd but unusual lawyer who came to New York after her career success in Chicago. Elsbeth uses his own bizarre perspective to make unique observations, working with the NYPD to hunt down cunning criminals. The show is the second spin-off of the good wife, based on the characters in the good wife and the Battle of Pride, but can be watched as an independent series without making up the play or knowing the character's past story.
