Ernest et Célestine (2012)

A deep feeling across races, a magical journey that touches the bottom of my heart. After several twists and turns, Sena, a mouse who lived in an orphanage since she was a child, finally escaped from the underground rat country. But when she stumbled to the bear kingdom, she was scorned and looked down upon all the way. The tired little Sena slept soundly in the trash can and woke up to find a big bear about to eat her for dinner. However, after the storm, the two quickly became friends. It turns out that Mr. Bear, whose name is Aite, is a street musician and circus actor. The versatile Aite has also engaged in many professions. The enthusiastic Aite took Saina to live at home, and they supported and understood each other and encouraged each other to help. A seemingly impossible friendship is challenging the existing order and rules, and is slowly becoming more and more solid. With its warm watercolor hand-painted style and healing plot, "Aite Bear and the Sena Mouse" won the 38th Caesar Award for best animated film in 2013. it was shortlisted for the foreign show unit of the 3rd Beijing International Film Festival in 2013 and the "Children's Film" section of the 2012 Toronto Film Festival. The Ait Bear and the Sena Mouse series of picture books were created by Belgian woman writer Gabriel Vinson.
