Born in a French civilian area, Este Kang (Summer Phoenix) is sent by his parents to work as an apprentice at a tailor's office from an early age. She is withdrawn, has a cold relationship with the people around her and even her parents, and her work is boring and seldom fun. One night, when Esther and his friends went to the theatre to watch the play, the idea of becoming an actor came into his mind. By chance, she started as a dragon actor and stepped onto the center of the dream stage step by step. Halfway to becoming a monk, she continues to improve her acting skills under the guidance of the old play Gunnar Garland (Ian Holm). In order to act well in a love play, she did not hesitate to give her virginity. Drama critic Philip Eckar (Fabrice Desplechin) breaks into Esther's life, making her really experience the taste of love, but never thinking about the rush of love coming and going. ©Douban
