Eyes on the Skies (2008)

This film is the official film of the International Astronomical year. For 400 years, the International Astronomical Association, with the introduction of the telescope used for astronomical observation for the first time in 1609, introduces various means of observing the stars, as well as today's advanced observation techniques. It is a film that explores many aspects-- including its history of development, scientific importance, technological breakthroughs, and the people behind this pioneering sexual discovery-- its merits and failures. This film is performed and performed by Dr. JoeLiske and Dr. Lars Lindberg Christensen, professional astronomers of the South Astronomical Observatory (Dr. JoeLiske is also the host of the Harper Space Watch online audio-visual broadcast film "Hubblecast").
