The story revolves around Murphy and Rosa living in Lagos, Nigeria, and their desire for a new life in Europe. Murphy decided to emigrate to Europe after accidentally losing her sister and child, while Rosa, who took care of her pregnant sister alone, longed to escape the suffocating environment at all costs. "this is my wish" is the debut of the Nigerian director Ersley brothers' feature film. This work narrates smoothly from a bystander point of view, but two seemingly unrelated lives are vaguely linked, and the European dreams of African immigrants always have similar ups and downs.
