The word "Fado" is said to be derived from Latin, meaning fate. It is a famous traditional folk song in Portugal. It is a 150-year-old Portuguese music that can be heard in taverns, urban cafes and clubhouses; music expresses feelings of grief, loss and pain. The special guitar music and the unique tone of the soloist are ethereal and moving, which makes the listeners feel sad. From the great tradition of the 19th century, after flamenco and Tango, Carlos Sala invited Fado, the deepest soul of Portugal, to complete the lyric trilogy. It is said that the soul of Portugal is fado,fado and the soul is Saudade. The word cannot be translated. It is a complex emotion that mixes homesickness, regret and hope.
