Farang (2023)

Sam, a Frenchman of Algerian descent, has just been released from a French prison and found a job at a construction site through a probation program. However, he soon became entangled again with a group of criminals who asked him to transport drugs. When he refused, they attacked him and threatened him. In order to stay away from trouble, Sam fled to Thailand and started a new life. There, he met a Franco-Thai woman named Mia, who fell in love and adopted a little girl named Dara together. In order to realize their dream of opening a restaurant on the beach, Sam began to take part in Muay Muay competitions to earn start-up capital. However, the tragedy happened again when Na Rong, a local criminal, wanted to instruct Sam to smuggle drugs to the airport in exchange for the waterfront property he wanted. When Sam refused, Narong's men killed Mia and kidnapped Darla. After mistakenly thinking that Darla was dead, the grief-stricken Sam decided to avenge his family's death. With the help of his friend and mentor Hanza, Sam tracked and killed all those responsible, including Narong. In the final duel, Sam learned that Dara was still alive and had returned to the village where they lived. Sam came back.
