In the late 1970s, an earth-shaking revolution broke out in Iran. Kurdish poet Sahr (Behrouz Vossoughi) is hit by the revolution when he is accused of writing a large number of political poems criticizing the authorities and his wife Mina (Monica Bellucci Monica Bellucci) is arrested. In prison, the couple experienced cruel torture and inhuman treatment. After three decades in prison, Sahr was freed, when Mina left prison five years earlier. In order to find his wife, Sahr came to Turkey. For couples who have been crushed by the times and fate, their suffering is far from over. The helpless search in the wilderness, the memories of the mottled blood of the past emerge alternately. Based on the diary of the Iranian poet Sadegh Kamangar, the film won the best cinematography award at the 2012 Asia-Pacific Film Festival.
