Based on V.C.Andrew 's controversial classic, this film tells the story of a family story with complex and emotionally distorted relationships. After her father's accidental death, the mother, who thought she was a vase, took the four brothers and sisters to her grandmother's mansion in an attempt to acquire family property. However, the children were so unbearable and puzzled by their grandmother's ruthlessness that they had to live in a narrow attic and watch their grandmother's face every day, but as time went on, they gradually discovered the real reason for their grandmother's indifference and harshness, and the family's twisted and complex emotional relationship seemed to haunt their throbbing hearts of youth.
