Gagarine (2020)

Yuri, 16, has been living in the Gagarin Tower, a huge public housing project on the outskirts of Paris. He dreams of becoming an astronaut. When his beloved community was about to be demolished, Yuri and his friends formed a small resistance alliance in an attempt to save the Gagarin building and turn the cold concrete house into a dream ship. The demolition of the old public housing aroused a sigh from the bottom of the society, but the film played down the bitterness and helplessness of the real events with its unique image style, bold sound design and unconventional vision, and its youthful breath was particularly moving.
