Ganga Haji Wandas (Aria Buhart) was born into a wealthy family in Kathiawar and her dream is to become a Bollywood actress. At the age of 16, she fell in love with Ramnick Rahl (Warren Kapoor). Ramnick replied that Ganga could enter the film industry under the guidance of his aunt Sheila, so they eloped to Mumbai. However, her life has changed dramatically since then. Because he sold her to a brothel in Camatipula for 1000 rupees, she had to start prostitution. Later, she became a powerful brothel owner, Gangubai Katiawadi, and won the election in the area where she lived (Camatipula). Don Rahim Lala became her sworn brother after beating up an accomplice who raped her. Gangu later fell in love with a young tailor Afsain. She has advocated women's rights and equal rights for sex workers.
