Andrew (Zach Bluff Zach Braff), a 26-year-old who worked alone in Los Angeles for nine years, volunteered to be an actor, but is still unknown today and usually makes a living by working in a restaurant. A phone call brought Andrew back to his long-lost hometown in New Jersey. For years, he had little contact with his family for some reason, and years of taking antidepressants made him indifferent to everything around him, even though his mother, who had been paralyzed for many years, died unexpectedly. In his hometown, he saw his father, a psychiatrist, and his bad friends at that time again. Everything seemed to be the same, and everything had changed a lot. On the advice of his father, Andrew went to the hospital to treat his headache for a long time, but here he met the beautiful but somewhat neurotic girl Sam (Natalie Portman), which changed his desperate life like a backwater.
